BacoFoil 100% Recycled Aluminium foil has the strength you can trust and rely on for everyday use with food. Unlike all other BacoFoil which is made from primarily virgin/new materials, BacoFoil 100% Recycled Aluminium is made from 100% recycled aluminium from car components, guttering, railway sidings, cookware, stadium seating and scraps from industrial cable. The aluminium is melted down at temperatures exceeding 650°C which burns off any debris in the metal and turns the aluminium into a molten liquid which is filtered, poured and rolled into thin sheets.

During the process of turning recycled material into foil there is an 80% reduction in the amount of energy used, compared to making the foil from new.
